Công bố 100 trường đại học hàng đầu thế giới năm 2015-2016

Bảng xếp hạng 100 trường đại học hàng đầu thế giới năm 2015-2016 theo hệ thống QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) vừa được công bố. Học viện Công nghệ Massachusetts (Massachusetts Institute of Technology – MIT) tiếp tục duy trì vị trí đứng đầu trong bảng xếp hạng thường niên này, trong khi các đại học có tiếng khác thay đổi thứ hạng.
Theo bảng xếp hạng của năm 2015-2016 được công bố, Đại học Harvard đã tăng từ vị trí thứ tư năm ngoái lên vị trí thứ hai trong năm nay, vượt qua Đại học Cambridge. Imperial College London, đứng thứ hai năm ngoái, tụt xuống thứ tám, trong khi thứ hạng của Đại học Oxford và University College London cũng giảm trong bảng xếp hạng.
Mặc dù vậy, Anh vẫn duy trì danh tiếng là đất nước có nền giáo dục đại học mang đẳng cấp thế giới khi London là thành phố duy nhất trên thế giới có bốn trường đại học nằm trong top 50, hơn Boston và New York (có 3 trường) Paris, Sydney, Hồng Kông và Bắc Kinh (2 trường).
